Note to anyone out there who does not like bees:
When you go to swat at them, use something thats like a fly swatter or you could end up like I did.
I just happened to be standing in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now this was all an accident, but it still sucks.
At this job I work at is outside, waitressing to a wedding and that day there was a lot of bees around. So we were outside and were getting ready to make salads to put out on the tables. And yes, there is the bee that was minding its own business but was close enough for my friend to hit it. And what does she hit it with, yes a metal lid that was for a cooking pan. Seconds later I was on the ground covering my face with my hands.
I did not think that anything had happened until I heard someone say 'oh, there is blood'. My thought, great.... Pulling my hands away from my face to see that they were dripping with blood. then i could not see anything anymore because someone had covered my eye up with some sort of napkin. My friend who had hit me was balling her eyes out trying to stop the bleeding. But me....I was laughing. The fact that this had happened was all to funny for me. Soon enough the bleeding had stopped and I was going into the emergency room to get stitches.
The lid had just missed my eye by a half an inch, and i now have a scar that goes from the side of my nose, under my eye and is about 2 1/2 inches long. After the stitches were done my dad took me to a store and we bought my friend a fly swatter with her name on it and told her to use that instead because its a little softer on the face, lol.
